Story Finders Books Subscription Box for Kids

 Today, I have a kid's subscription box from a company called Story Finders Books.  This is not just any book subscription, but one that is catered to your children's wants, needs, and abilities. As a mom, it is also very important to me that I know that the books my children are reading are promoting high character. I don't want to give my child a story that may share topics that I don't want my children reading.  It's very hard to sit and pre read and research every book that all your children read, especially when they start reading chapter books.  Story Finders has already done all the work for you and have amazing books waiting to be delivered to your doorstep. 

This subscription boxes are designed for children around 7-16 years old. Our youngest box recipients should be ready to graduate from early readers and smaller chapter books to somewhat longer novels around 200+ pages. 

First, you start your subscription by filling out a survey.   Your child fills out the first part of it, answering questions about their reading ability, likes, dislikes, favorite books, favorite subjects, and more.  Next, a parent of care giver fills out the last part, putting in what subjects or content they don't want to be in the books sent.  All orders and surveys put in by the 5th of the month will receive their subscription that month and the boxes shipped around the 12th.    

Your child will be sent two books each month based on their survey.  Story Finders really did an amazing job with picking out the books, they were absolutely perfect and just what my daughter asked for.  She has had so much fun reading the books.  

A few weeks after you get your books, you receive a follow up survey. They want to make sure you loved the books and also what things you may want changed for the next month.  What if you already own the book they send?? Well, they will send you a new one and ask you to donate the duplicate to a friend or charity.
